A series of workshops designed to help fledgling restaurant and hospitality businesses succeed and grow is being launched by Restaurant magazine.

Operating as part of Generation Next, the club that supports the growth of emerging operators, from up-and-coming street food vendors through to businesses with one to five sites, the online workshops will provide insight, advice and support for businesses across a number of different topics.

The first workshop will take place on 24 May with the title: Inside intelligence: navigating the world of data to help you scale, with insight provided by hospitality technology solutions supplier Zonal.

The free to attend, hour-long online workshop will discuss the importance of data for any business looking to scale and grow with Jonathan Grant, director of technical sales at Zonal providing insight into three key data areas. He will also share his top tips to help brands pinpoint the essential metrics that will help them scale and grow.

The workshop will also feature insight from a number of hospitality operators that have successfully used data to facilitate growth, with advice based on their experiences.

Operators, chefs and hospitality individuals wanting to attend the data workshop can register here.

Generation Next is a club for small and emerging hospitality operators run by Restaurant magazine with Iconic as its headline sponsor and Frobishers and Zonal as associate partners. It runs two face to face events each year as well as a series of online workshops. The next event will be held in London in October. To sign up to join the club and attend future events, click here.
