Chef Bhola Prasad is to launch the first of several planned delivery and collection kitchens in London under the Bhola’s Indian Rasoi brand.

The new brand will offer an extensive range of dishes from small plates and tandoori dishes to specials and sides. Menu options will include starters of Benares ki aloo tikki - potato tikki, split chickpeas, yoghurt, tamarind and mint chutney; chicken Chettinad croquettes; keema pav; and a chilli broccoli and kale salad as well as tandoori dishes such as grilled prawns; and basil and dhania paneer tikka.

Mains, meanwhile, will include coastal Goan fish curry; and Champaran lamb on the bone; and Lucknowi lamb biryani.

The first site will open this month in London’s Bethnal Green and will cover a radius of up to five miles, taking in the neighbourhoods of Whitechapel and Shoreditch and stretching beyond the City to Holborn.

It will be the first of further planned Indian delivery and collections kitchen sites in the capital.

Indian-born Prasad has worked in venues including the Hotel Hindustan International as well as at Covent Garden’s Moti Mahal and Mint Leaf in Haymarket. His brother Kumar Prasad, who has worked in senior managerial positions in several London Indian restaurants, will be part of the Bhola’s Indian Rasoi team.
