Asian restaurant brand ULI has opened a second outpost in Marylebone’s Seymour Place a year after it was first announced.

Located on the former Vinoteca site, the 2,400sq ft, 100-cover restaurant is the third and largest restaurant from London-based restaurateurs Graham Rebak and Adam Wilkie, joining ULI Notting Hill and HUŎ in Chelsea.

It serves Asian food with dishes from China and Southeast Asia with menu items that include Szechuan chilli prawns; nyonya prawn sambal; crisp-fried cod fillet with black bean; and stir-fried beef fillet with spicy black pepper sauce as well as a range of salads and curries.

The group was founded by Graham Rebak and Adam Wilkie with the first ULI launched on All Saints Road in Notting Hill before it moved to its current home on Ladbroke Road.

“Recognising London’s demand and appreciation for our brand of informal classic Asian cooking, off the success of both ULI Notting Hill and HUŎ, Adam and I have been looking for the perfect new neighbourhood location for a second ULI for some time,” says Rebak, managing director at ULI.

“When the site on Seymour Place came onto our radar, we immediately knew that this was it. Remarkably this brand of restaurant is currently missing from the area and when combined with Jonathan Clark’s crisp and cool interiors, we are confident that Marylebone locals will be quick to add ULI to their little black book of regular haunts.”

ULI Marylebone is the latest addition to Seymour Place - which is part of The Portman Estate - joining the likes of Levantine patisserie T by Tamara, Basque grill restaurant Lurra and Michelin-starred Mexican restaurant KOL.

“The opening of ULI Marylebone is an exciting moment for Seymour Place,” says Tom Knight, portfolio director at The Portman Estate.

“We are so pleased to continue diversifying the high quality restaurant offerings in The Portman Estate, further strengthening Portman Marylebone as a destination.”
