London-based restaurant, wine bar and retailer Top Cuvée has doubled the size of its natural wine subscription service through the acquisition of online natural wine retailer Lowintervention.com.

Top Cuvée says the purchase, which was finalised on 1 August, has ‘solidified its position as the dominant player in the natural wine world’ and ‘represents a significant step forward for the company’.

“With the acquisition of LowIntervention.com, we are thrilled to welcome their loyal customers into the Top Cuvée extended family. We recognise and value the innovation LowIntervention.com has brought through promoting Natural Wines online from the early days,” says Brodie Meah, managing director at Top Cuvée.

“This aligns perfectly with our vision to make these wines accessible to as many people as possible”

Top Cuvée was founded by Meah and Max Venning, however, the latter has subsequently left the business.

The group operates a bar and restaurant under the Top Cuvée name in London’s Finsbury Park; as well as wine retailer Shop Cuvée, also in Finsbury Park; and wine bar and shop Cave Cuvée, located in Bethnal Green.
