Emilia’s Crafted Pasta will launch in Marylebone later this year bringing its total number of sites in the capital to to four.

Emilia’s Baker Street will seat 85 in total (55 internally and 30 outside). Its design will combine the building’s art deco history with details inspired by traditional Italian trattorie.

The new restaurant will join the fresh pasta-focused brand’s existing sites in St. Katharine Docks, Aldgate and Canary Wharf.

Design details will include a combination of natural and earthy toned materials including terracotta, marble, terrazzo, and wood; a Murano glass chandelier; and sculptural neon light features.

As is the case with all Emilia’s Crafted Pasta sites, the restaurant will feature a fully open kitchen with counter seating.

The Baker Street menu will offer all Emilia’s signature pasta dishes, including casarecce truffled cacio e pepe; and slow-cooked béchamel bolognese with pappardelle.

“I’m very excited that we’re expanding into the heart of central London, following on from our successes in East London, the City and Canary Wharf,” founder and CEO Andrew Macleod, who founded the group in 2016.

“Comforting fresh pasta made with 100% natural ingredients should be affordable for everyone to enjoy on a regular basis and we look forward to continuing in our pasta mission to become the UK’s favourite pasta restaurant brand”.
