Harrogate restaurant Farmhouse is opening a second restaurant in Leeds this autumn.

Founded by Jordan Aspinall, the restaurant’s second site will be a 100-cover venue located in the former ASK Italian on Lands Lane in the city.

The kitchen will be headed up by chef Tom Hunter who has worked at places including The Reliance in Leeds.

Speaking to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Aspinall said: "We are super excited to open in Leeds and can’t wait to bring our unique take on world foods to the city, without being tied down to any specific style of cuisine. We create our tried and tested favourites, with no trick cooking, no clever marketing just good food served by friendly people.

"We originally looked for a restaurant in Leeds in 2019 when we opened in Harrogate, and so this has been in our minds for quite some time. I’m confident we’ve found the perfect site for our second farmhouse and can’t wait to bring our amazing brunch to Leeds city centre.’’

Located off Station Parade under the Everyman cinema in Harrogate city centre, the original Farmhouse serves a breakfast brunch and lunch menu that includes dishes such as stacked blueberry and banana pancakes; chilli scrambled eggs, parmesan, bacon, spring onion, and shallots; fish tacos; and chicken katsu curry.
