Cameron House has closed its fine dining restaurant Tamburrini and Wishart.

The restaurant was originally Martin Wishart’s restaurant but closed following a fire at the hotel in 2017. It reopened in August 2021 as a partnership between Wishart and fellow Scottish chef Paul Tamburrini.

The kitchen was overseen by head chef Zach Brotherton.

The restaurant served a five-course tasting menu that changed every two weeks, and a three-course lunch menu.

Wishart and Tamburrini have worked together for more than 20 years at Michelin-starred Restaurant Martin Wishart in Leith and at The Honours, which closed in 2020. The move marked a return to Cameron House Hotel for Tamburrini who worked at the hotel early on in his career.

Cameron House is still operating its Cameron Grill, The Boat House, The Clubhouse at Cameron, and The Tavern restaurants.
