Caravan chair Jane O’ Riordan and Fulham Shore founder David Page will deliver keynote sessions at this year’s Restaurant Conference, which takes place next month at Pullman London St Pancras.

O’ Riordan, who was named MCA’s Retailers’ Retailer of the Year 2023 earlier this year, will deliver a talk on ‘success through innovation’, discussing the experiences that have shaped her career to date; her passion for technology and innovation; and the growth potential for the three businesses she chairs.

Page, meanwhile, will discuss a career building iconic brands, fresh from securing a £93m deal for Franco Manca operator Fulham Shore. He will also share insights into building one of the UK’s fastest growing and exciting pizza brands and how he sold it to Japanese food group Toridoll Holdings.

The two industry heavyweights join a host of names that will be taking to the stage at the Restaurant Conference, which will be hosted by MCA, Restaurant's sister site, on 9 November. They include PizzaExpress CEO Paula Mackenzie, Wagamama CEO Thomas Heier and Big Mamma Group co-founder Victor Lugger, who will each discuss the evolution of their brands, how they are nurturing people and culture, as well as managing customer behaviour and attitudes.

Elsewhere, AlixPartners MD Graeme Smith will examine the financing and M&A landscape facing operators; and Katie Prowse, senior insight manager at Lumina Intelligence, will review the impact of the cost of living crisis on hospitality businesses.

There will also be a range of panel discussions featuring representatives from operators such as Casa do Frango, Oowee, Tonkotsu, Harts Group, German Doner Kebab, Rosa’s Thai, and Leon.
