Japanese-style souffle pancake brand Fluffy Fluffy will open its fourth UK restaurant later this month.

The Canadian brand will open a store on The Headrow in Leeds on 11 November.

The new site will serve the brand’s signature pancakes that are made by whipping egg whites to soft peaks and slow cooking them on a low heat for a light and fluffy texture. Menu options in the UK include creme brulee, Biscoff, pistachio, and Nutella pancakes.

The brand is known as Fuwa Fuwa - which translates at ‘fluffy fluffy in Japanese - in North America and was launched in Toronoto in 2018. It operates numerous sites in Canada in Toronto, Calgary, and Edmonton.

In 2021 it opened its first international site, in China, and a year later further expanded with sites in the US and the UK. The first UK venue opened in Manchester in October 2022, followed by sites in Leicester and Reading.
