Salad brand Urban Greens will open its fourth location in the capital next year, in Kensington.

The business will open a 2,252sq ft flagship branch in Wrights Arcade in Kensington in January, adding to existing branches in Canary Wharf, the City and St James’s.

Urban Greens was launched by university friends Rushil Ramjee, Houman Ashrafzadeh and Yannis Drivas in 2019 near St James’s Park tube station. It serves a range of healthy salad bowls that include options such as salmon avocado; beef Saigon; sweet chick; and shrimp habanero.

The all-day restaurant will be the first in the group to have a breakfast offer.

“When we were searching for our first neighbourhood location to expand to, Wright’s Arcade in Kensington ticked all the boxes - a brand-new high-quality space in a thriving area for residents, businesses and tourists,” says Ramjee.

“From January next year we are looking forward to bringing our next-level salads to this new audience with an all-day offering. We’ll also be providing corporate orders and delivery from our new home, allowing companies at The Kensington Building and further afield to enjoy our renowned reinvention of healthy fast-food.”

Empanada brand Chango Empanadas has also chosen Wrights Arcade for the opening of its sixth venue. Its 470sq ft store will also open early next year and join its sites in Richmond, Parsons Green, Wandsworth, Highgate, and Wimbledon.
