Notting Hill's Laylow will close later this month ahead of moving to an as-yet-unrevealed location in the West End.

The four-storey club and restaurant launched on Golborne Road in 2017 and is known for its high-profile celebrity clientele, which has included David Beckham, Pixie Geldof, Guy Ritchie and Jack Whitehall.

The venue will close its doors for the last time on 21 December. To mark the occasion, Rowley Leigh, who headed up the restaurant’s most recent residency, Chez Rowley, will ‘see out the venue in style with a final supper’.

Priced at £120, the menu will include scallop crudo, fennel and truffle; salsify, artichoke, watercress and truffle salad; cacio e pepe; steamed Dover sole, bottarga and endive; beef rib, roast shallots and bone marrow; and radicchio tardivo.

The meal will conclude with a cheese course of Brie De Meux followed by bitter chocolate and salted caramel tart with crème fraîche.

“What a whirlwind the past six years have been,” says founder Taz Fustok. “I’ve made so many memories and even more great friendships from those who have come and supported Laylow. It’s definitely not goodbye as we head West and I’m excited to open the doors to our new home - stay tuned!”

Leigh added: “It’s been fun running Chez Rowley over the past few months. We’ve decided we’re going to shut shop with a grand finish  - some of my favourite dishes will be served, and a few twists to befit the occasion - it should be rather special!”
