Paulo De Tarso has left his role of head of hospitality at Mayfair-based restaurant operator LSL Capital after three months.

A well-known front-of-house figure within London hospitality, De Tarso started working at the group’s Japanese restaurant KOYN and had been due to ‘embark on a journey’ across its other sites, which include Jamavar, MiMi Mei Fair and Socca, as part of the newly-created role.

De Tarso’s CV includes key roles at some of the capital best-known restaurants including The Wolseley, Scott’s Mayfair and Daniel Boulud’s now closed Bar Boulud.

In 2016 he launched Italian restaurant Margot in Covent Garden but stepped away from the business in 2020.

De Tarso says he is ‘refocusing his attention’ on a digital media-related passion project which is expected to launch later this year.

“The hospitality sector is evolving, as are all elements within it. Digital media and production has become such a big part of hospitality, and the way we as operators communicate with clientele. I can’t wait to share with you the exciting projects the team and I have been working on at Paulo de Tarso Hospitality in early 2024.”
