Chotto Matte’s parent company Noble Hospitality Group ‘enters new phase of expansion and innovation’

Chotto Matte and Angus Steakhouse owner Noble Hospitality Group says it is entering into a new phase of innovation following a ‘highly successful’ 2023.

While no specific sites have been announced, the group says that Angus Steakhouse, which currently operates five locations in the capital, will grow its presence with an updated version of its concept that ‘reflect the evolution of the brand’. 

Noble Hospitality Group also says its recently launched Alley Cats Pizza brand will open new restaurants across London following the success of its debut site in Marylebone.  

Restaurant understands that the New York pizza brand is close to securing a site in Chelsea.​ 

Expansion and a refresh is also on the cards for its four-strong Steak and Company brand, the group says.

Its Nikkei brand Chotto Matte​ - meanwhile - ‘remains dedicated to its global growth plan’ and is looking to grow its portfolio in the US and Europe following recent franchised launches in Georgia and Saudi Arabia. 

A Chotto Matte is expected to launch this summer in Manchester, marking the first regional site for Noble Hospitality Group. 

The group also says it is in the process of developing a new restaurant concept that will ‘redefine the London dining landscape’. 

Noble Hospitality Group is now led by former Ping Pong CEO Paul Sarlas. He has been involved with the group for past few years, having previously been managing director of Chotto Matte. 

The group has named former Dogus Group CEO Olivier Flamant as Global Managing Director for Chotto Matte Restaurants. 

Kurt Zdesar, the founder of Chotto Matte, will continue to play an ‘integral role in shaping the brand’s culinary vision, innovation, and strategy’.
