Chef Kimberly Lin’s plant-based brand Floozie Cookies has launched its first franchised site.

In Oxfordshire designer outlet shopping centre Bicester Village, the location is being operated by HSD Capitol, which is led by entrepreneur Harnek Dharar.

Floozie Cookies was founded in 2020 by Lin, who honed her pastry skills in venues including Claridge’s, Corinthia London, and Dominique Ansel Bakery.

The brand currently has a site in Covent Garden and two international locations in Dubai and Saudi Arabia.

The franchising of Floozie Cookies has been facilitated by Game Changer Investments, which bills itself as a London-based hospitality incubator.

It has been involved with hospitality businesses including Erpingham House, chef Mark Greenaway’s Pie & Mash and Covent Garden’s El Takoy.

“It’s been a rollercoaster of a journey since we launched in 2020, and it’s exciting to see the brand being taken nationally to Bicester Village,” says Lin.

“With our original store situated in Covent Garden Market, we know that our offering is ideal for shoppers who are looking for an on-the-move treat, so when the opportunity arose to open our first franchise in Bicester Village we knew it was going to be a success. We’re excited for the shoppers of Bicester Village to try our delicious, plant-based products!”
