2Forks take menu engineering workshops on tour

Related tags 2Forks menu engineering

Food marketing expert 2Forks is to run a series of 'hands-on menu workshops' this month across the country.

Events in Bristol, Birmingham, London, Liverpool and Manchester will offer insight to operators on how to make their menus work harder for their customers, their teams and their bottom line.

Led by 2Forks co-founder Annica Wainwright, each workshop will break down the process, strategies and behavioural science-based techniques that 2Forks has previously used to create high-performing menus for restaurant brands including Pizza Pilgrims, Dishoom and Rosa's Thai, and teach delegates how to apply them to their own menus.

The workshops, suitable for pubs and bars as well as restaurants, will see delegates work on their menus in groups and get personalised feedback on their efforts at the end of the day.

"Menu engineering is such a unique but important element of marketing - and yet, it's not something that you often consider," says Emily Jacobs, head of development and marketing at Marcus Wareing Restaurants, who previously took part in one of the workshops.

"That's what makes this course so valuable - actionable insights that you can immediately implement into your business. I found it especially helpful as a small marketing team of one."
