Restaurants, hotels and pubs including Ciro's Brasserie, QHotels, Renaissance Pubs and Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel tell BigHospitality about special events and promotions they're running to attract more customers.

Cook your own Steak

Ciro’s Brasserie at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa has added ‘Cook your own Steak’ to its specials board, allowing diners to cook their own steak at their tables. Recently awarded an AA Rosette, Ciro’s Brasserie serves locally-sourced, 28-day aged beef, which is brought to the table as a sealed raw steak fillet on a hot ‘steak stone’. The diner then takes control, cooking their meal to their own liking. Executive head chef Leigh Myers said: “We are always on the lookout for something new to offer our diners, and this is it! Steak is becoming increasingly popular, and whether guests prefer their meat rare, medium or well-done, they like their steak cooked just to their liking, so our new Steak Stones are perfect! Cook your own Steak is currently available at Ciro’s Brasserie and Nelson’s Bar, from Monday to Saturday.

Networking Lunch

QHotels has launched a special Networking Lunch to help organisers and delegates make the most of meetings and conferences across the 21 hotels under the brand. “Feedback from our delegates and conference organisers shows that now, more than ever, the opportunity to make contacts and network at a conference is seen as great added-value, “said Joanne Barratt, group operations manager at QHotels. “Our new Networking Lunch allows delegates to easily network with others, while still enjoying great tasting, quality food at lunch time.” The Networking Lunch includes a selection of delicious smaller dishes to give delegates the chance to ‘work the room’ during the lunch break.
