Simon Hulstone masterclass
The first day of the final (Thursday 19 March) started with a series of masterclasses at Ealing Hammersmith & West London College with The Elephant chef-owner Simon Hulstone (pictured) mentoring chefs in menu development while Will Smith of Arbutus Restaurants and Helder Pinheiro of Firmdale Hotels’ Charlotte Street Hotel gave service and mixology tips respectively to front-of-house staff.
