Tom Shepherd joins Adam's as head chef
He joins from The Development Kitchen, a pop-up restaurant run with his friend Adam Degg, and previously worked as a development chef at the two Michelin-starred Restaurant Sat Bains in Nottingham.
Adam’s is run by husband and wife team Adam and Natasha Stokes and was originally intended as a two-year pop-up.
The restaurant is now a permanent feature of Birmingham’s booming dining scene and is one of five restaurants in the city to hold a Michelin Star.
It was also ranked 52nd in the Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards top 100 list in June.
Shepherd says he is excited to return to his home town and work alongside Stokes.
"I feel that I am joining the best restaurant in Birmingham which has the perfect platform to achieve our targets," says Shepherd.
