BBC looking for chefs to compete in new TV cooking show
While details regarding the show are limited, the casting call says the winner will be chosen by ‘the world’s top foodies’ and receive ‘the ultimate prize in food’.
The competition is looking for ‘passionate cooks who dream of making their mark in the food industry’.
It’s open to professionals from across the industry including street food vendors, commis chefs, food truck entrepreneurs, and kitchen creatives.

This isn’t the only cookery competition recently announced by the BBC that’s aimed at those working in the industry.
Last month, Gordon Ramsay put out a casting call for entrepreneurial talent to take part in a new competitive cooking show he’s launching on BBC One.
In a video posted to his Twitter account, Ramsay said he was looking for contestants with "passion, drive and a very strong work ethic" to take part in the Apprentice-style competition series.
Candidates chosen to take part in the show will be put through a series of ‘relentless challenges’, and at the end of the process, the person who has proven themselves the most will receive an investment from Ramsay himself to take their idea to the next level.
