The Hildon Foundation is working with a number of restaurant partners including D&D London and Gaucho to supply meals to frontline NHS workers battling against the Coronavirus.

Frontline Meals is one of two fundraising initiatives launched by Hildon in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The other, Frontline Water, is working to offer a continued supply of mineral water to hospitals across Hampshire, including in Southampton, Winchester, Basingstoke, Salisbury, and Andover.

At the moment 20,000 bottles a week are being distributed, with 350,000 pledged in total so far.

Frontline Meals, meanwhile, is London-focused and working to ensure a continued supply of meals and water into London hospitals.

The Hildon Foundation says it is providing weekly monetary donations in the thousands to fund meals for the frontline workers and patients, as well as donating water

So far 16 restaurant groups have partnered with The Hildon Foundation’s Frontline Meals initiative, including D&D London, Martin Williams' M Restaurants and Gaucho.

Utilising restaurant sites in London and Manchester, D&D has pledged to provide more than 2,000 free meals a day to key workers across the UK.

M and Gaucho have said they will deliver 1,000 meals per week to the London-based Guy's & St Thomas’, and Nightingale hospitals.

The M restaurant on Threadneedle Street in London is also set to host a complimentary ‘Appreciation Dinner’ for 200 NHS front line doctors and nurses and their partners in September.
