Big Table Group to launch Amalfi Ristorante in Soho this month
Amalfi Ristorante follows the launch of Amalfi in Center Parcs Woburn Forest last year but will take the recently-created brand in a ‘new direction’ by offering a different menu that is pitched at a higher price point.
Formerly the 150-strong casual dining group’s Bella Italia format, the Argyll Street restaurant is seeking to ‘reignite a passion for Italian classics’ with a menu that includes sourdough pizzas, fresh pasta and a range of carpaccios.
The restaurant will be split across two-floors seating 152 covers inside with an additional 20 outside.
The design will “create a calming oasis infused with the very essence of the Amalfi coast” with features including mosaic marble flooring, terracotta tiles and a garden room.
“We can’t wait to bring Amalfi to the Soho area. With a rising demand for effortlessly luxury dining we are excited for Londoners and visitors alike to experience all that the new restaurant has to offer,” says Big Table Group CEO Alan Morgan.
Big Table was formed in July 2020 to acquire and operate the Las Iguanas, Café Rouge and Bella Italia brands that were previously managed by Casual Dining Group (CDG), in concert with the existing management team.
