Japanese restaurant Manga Banga will open in Marylebone next month.

Launching on Lisson Grove close to Marylebone station, the 50-cover izakaya-inspired restaurant will serve Asian small plates, with dishes to include crispy baby squid with yuzu kosho mayo; bang cauliflower; seared salmon sashimi with yuzu-soy and ginger; spicy tuna tacos with scorched chilli salsa; and vegetable gyoza.

There will also be a range of bao of offer, including twice cooked pork belly with peanut-soy; miso-yaki portobello mushroom with Japanese BBQ sauce; Korean fried chicken; and sticky wagyu short rib with ginger teriyaki glaze.

Manga Banga’s design will feature a wall covered with more than 100 manga magazine covers, neon signage, and a mural.
