Holy Carrot seeks first permanent site

Following a successful trial at beauty and wellness destination Urban Retreat in Knightsbridge, founder Irina Linovich is now searching for a permanent site in central London.

Possible locations include Chelsea, Marylebone, Soho, Bloomsbury, Notting Hill and Islington.

Holy Carrot opened at Urban Retreat in June 2021 ​​serving a plant-based menu of seasonal, organic British produce that has been ethically sourced. It takes a ‘peel to root’ approach, which it says is the vegetarian equivalent of to nose to tail, ensuring that no part of the vegetable is wasted.

Menu items are from refined sugars, preservatives and additives, and include dishes such as Kentish purple potato croquettes with avocado filling and basil mayo; charred Tenderstem broccoli with black sesame, bang bang sauce, and quinoa popcorn; shepherd’s pie made with braised black beans and black lentils, and glazed tofu with aubergine, red pepper and peanut sauce.

It also serves a tarot card cocktail menu with botanical cocktails as well as a wine list that champions producers with a sustainable approach.
