Boxpark is looking for ‘emerging and independent street food businesses on a regional and national scale’ for its upcoming Liverpool food hall.

Boxpark Liverpool will feature eight kitchens, showcasing a ‘curated selection of the country’s best street food traders’ with global cuisine ‘at the heart of the proposition’.

All successful traders will be given a fully-fitted ‘plug-and-play’ commercial kitchen including all extraction, refrigeration and preparation equipment.

Boxpark  says it will focus on championing local independent businesses, through both its food offering and entertainment offering.

“It is always a great time when we open up applications for traders to our sites, but we feel particularly excited with our move to Liverpool," says Boxpark CEO Simon Chaplin.

"We hope to introduce a unique offering of food and drink operators which will enhance the already impressive offering in the Baltic Triangle. Successful applicants will have access to world class kitchen units, and we will be continuing to invest heavily in technology to deliver a seamless customer experience.”

Boxpark announced last year that it had agreed a 15-year lease with Cains Brewery Village for the site, which is located within the city’s Baltic Triangle.

Spanning 21,000sq ft and holding 400 internal covers plus 200 external covers, Boxpark Liverpool will include eight kitchen units, three internal bars with additional external bars. There will also be a 5,430sq ft garden.

It will be the first Boxpark-branded development outside of the capital, joining its Shoreditch, Croydon and Wembley locations.

Applications are open until 30 June and can be made by following this link.
