Spritz brand These Days is to become the latest drinks supplier to enter the hospitality space with the launch of an aperitivo bar in London’s Bermondsey.

Opening on 11 May, the bar will serve a ‘progressive’ spritz menu of drinks made from fruit and organic wine, which will be available by the bottle and on tap. The bar aims to show there is more to the drink ‘than just the big orange spritz’, according to the owners.

It will also serve a tight range of bar snacks such as bread and oil from nearby St John Bakery, cheeses from Neal’s Yard Dairy, as well as charcuterie, olives and crisps.

Located in an old archway on Druid Street on Bermondsey’s ‘beer mile’, These Days Aperitivo Bar will have outdoor seating with space for 50 people in total. It will be open from 5pm to 11pm on Thursday and Fridays and from 2pm to 11pm on Saturdays.

These Days was founded by Oliver Man, previously bar manager at east London pub The Culpeper as well as assistant general manager at Shoreditch hotel bar The Buxton.

“We’re so excited to open our brand home, get back to our bartending roots, experiment with new spritz flavours and show how great aperitivo can be”, says Man.
