Taca Tacos to launch second site
The new taco kitchen will open this August in Peckham and will be Taca’s biggest site yet, with 32 covers inside, a full size bar and space for another 30 covers in a backyard beer garden.
The menu will include Taca’s signature beef birria, available in a quesataco or without cheese in a soft shell taco or as part of its popular beef birria combo - a selection of four taco styles and a pot of broth.
Other dishes will include a battered Baja fish taco; a green chile pork taco; and a vegetarian shroom quesataco made with pulled chipotle king oyster mushrooms, pink onions, de arbol salsa, coriander and grilled cheese as well items to share including house nachos, guacamole and corn ribs.
The restaurant will also serve a taco of the month, which for August will be a carne asada taco - marinated and grilled steak with melted smoked cheddar, house chimichurri, pink onions, avocado and coriander,
Taca was founded by Thorne Addyman in 2019 and built a reputation selling tacos at various markets across London, including a weekly spot at Brockley Market. It opened its first permanent site in Deptford Market in July 2022.
Taca Tacos will open this month on Rye Lane in Peckham.
