All-day dining restaurant 42 Holborn is opening in London later this year.

Located within 42 Holborn, a Grade II listed building designed by architect Sir Edwin Lutyens and close to Covent Garden and Theatreland, the new restaurant will serve a Mediterranean menu that features 42 dishes (can you see the theme?).

The kitchen will be headed up by executive chef Erdal Atas, whose menu will include dishes such as vegetarian croquettes; padron peppers; Tuscan chicken; and Spanish lentil stew.

Food and beverage director will be Adnan Özkara, who has previously worked at establishments such as Hakkasan, Park Chinois, and Jeru Mayfair.

The restaurant marks the first foray into the London restaurant scene for Mustafa Yigit Zeren of Zeren Group. “I have a huge passion for human connection, and launching the group’s first restaurant in London, where its cosmopolitan spirit and diverse community serves as the perfect backdrop for our culinary journey, is something I am immensely proud to be a part of,” he says.

“I’m excited to welcome guests to 42 Holborn, which will be a melting pot of flavours, textures and aromas that reflect the vibrancy of this magnificent city.”

Interiors will feature wood, leather and marble with a separate bar area, wooden floor and green colour palette. The restaurant will also have a choice of private dining rooms.
