Coffee and donut chain Dunkin’ will open a new flagship store in London later this month under plans to double its UK estate over the next two years.

The new site on Wardour Street is one of five new Dunkin’ stores expected to open in the capital before the end of the year in partnership with brand licensee QFM Group.

Currently, the US-born chain operates a 30-strong UK estate based predominantly in the north of England with outposts in Sheffield, Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool.

It has one site in London on Baker Street.

“We are thrilled to be on this journey with Dunkin’ in the UK expanding our footprint in the capital,” says Arjun Patel, director, QFM Group.

“We have had real success in the north of England since opening and to support our great location in Baker Street, additional new store openings in the capital this year will enable more Londoners to access our iconic brand.”

In total, Dunkin’ expects to open 10 new sites in the UK by the end of 2023 as part of a plan to double its UK estate over the next two years.

“Opening a flagship store in London is a major milestone for the brand as part of its international growth strategy,” adds Michael Haley, president and managing director of International at Inspire Brands, which owns Dunkin’.

“It will help to bring us closer to our mission of energising the world through great-tasting coffee and donuts.”
