St. Pancras Grand launches dedicated Whisky Bar
The Searcys restaurant in London’s St. Pancras station has launched a dedicated Whisky Bar, with a menu compiled by Johnny Walker

Searcys 1847 has launched a dedicated Whisky Bar in the heart of its St. Pancras Grand restaurant, with a menu compiled by the famous Johnny Walker.

Four months after the restaurant opened opposite its sister site, the St. Pancras Grand Champagne Bar, Searcys launched the Whisky Bar to cater for the continuous throng of consumers passing through one of London’s busiest stations.

David Best, General Manager of the Whisky Bar, said: “St Pancras Grand is the perfect venue for a Whisky Bar. It exudes an atmosphere of warmth and finesse (and) with Johnny Walker, we have created a very special and extensive selection.”

While the menu is predominantly Scottish, featuring Lowland, Highland and a range of other tipples from the Scottish isles, it also comprises a list of both familiar and rare blended, grain and malt whiskies and bourbons from Ireland and America, including a no-longer-in-production list that includes a St. Magdalene 1975 at £31 per glass.
