Freeze dried coffee company Beanies has launched a range of flavoured coffees in 50g jars which it says are 'perfect' for the small cafe, bar or restaurant owner who wants to extend their hot beverage offering.

Product details:

Beanies the Flavour Co, creator of flavoured coffees has launched a range of flavoured freeze-dried coffees in 50g glass jars which are designed to enhance operators' hot beverage offerings. The coffee is flavoured using a process unique to Beanies which sees the flavour infused throughout the coffee, which it claims gives a richer taste. Flavoured freeze dried coffees in the range so far are: Amaretto, Caramel, Cinnamon & Hazelnut, Double Chocolate, French Vanilla, Irish Cream and Rich Hazelnut.

USP:

The process of adding flavour to coffee is not new, but is generally done with the addition of syrups or powders. Beanies' option gives smaller operators the chance to offer coffee to customers that is flavoured already without having to buy in additional ingredients.

Price:

£19.20 for a case of 12 50g jars.

Availability:

The Beanies the Flavour Co range is available in cases of six and 12 jars with introductory mixed cases available on request from Epicurium. Call Tom McKechnie on 01207 438385 for detail.

Why you should buy it:

Beanies managing director and a former chairman of One North East's food and beverage strategy group John Evans, said there was growing consumer demand for flavoured coffee and that trials with businesses of the new range had drawn a positive response. “We are excited with the enthusiastic response from trials of the range within smaller cafes where owners want to respond to customer request and capitalise on the increased profit margins this offers," he said.
