Scandinavian warewashing machine supplier Wexiödisk has launched a new, ‘super-effective’ washing machine which incorporates the brand’s latest granular cleaning technology.

Product details:

The WD-90 Duo eliminates the need for preliminary soaking and scrubbing of large containers as it ‘turbo-blasts’ tough-to-remove food deposits, so only loose particals need to be removed before use.

Standard baskets can also be used for a traditional wash cycle, with operators able to choose from nine different programmes, with varying cycles available depending on washing requirements.

The WD-90 Duo is encased within the Wexiödisk’s Swiss-renowned, high-quality stainless steel casing.

The WD-90 Duo appliance boasts an energy-saving centrifugal spin cycle that dries items efficiently, as well as a unique hood concept with automatic lifting – for the upmost productivity in a busy kitchen, whilst preventing associated shoulder or arm strain injuries.

The optional condensing unit improves the working environment too, including an in-built extractor fan to remove excess steam, before recycling through a condenser to heat incoming cold water used in the final rinse.

The WD-90 Duo is available to all UK hospitality businesses now.

For further information on the Wexiödisk WD-90 Duo or any of the other models in the range, visit www.wexiodiskuk.co.uk or call the sales team on 0845 643 0421.

Why you should buy it:

Simon Frost, UK & Ireland country manager for Wexiödisk, said: “Warewashers undertake a vital role within every commercial kitchen establishment and often used regularly throughout the day. The new Wexiödisk WD-90 Duo combines the power and enhanced results of granular washing with the more delicate and environmentally friendly nature of a standard commercial wash, in one minimal footprint.

“As a result of this unique combination, operators are able to effectively wash large pots and pans with even the most stubborn burnt-on food, and fragile crockery."
