Operator of five fast casual restaurants in London Square Pie has launched Canapies, miniature pies for foodservice wholesale.

Product details:

The pies are available excusively through foodservice supplier Brakes and come in a range of flavours including Chicken & Mushroom, Steak & Ale, Spinach, Sweet Potato & Goats Cheese and Chicken Balti.

The pies can be served hot or cold and are small enough to be eaten in three bites.

USP:

The Canapies are versatile, they can be served as part of a hot or cold buffet or sharing platter, as a canapé, or in a trio for a main meal. They also work for a number of different markets and come in a wide range of flavours.

Availability:

Canapies can be ordered wholesale in boxes of 40 from Brakes via 0844 800 4900 or www.brake.co.uk or by contacting Square Pie at: fnyrf@fdhnercvr.pbz

Why you should buy it:

Square Pie Founder Martin Dewey said: “After launching Canapies at our five pie restaurants six months ago, we soon realised that their huge success and popularity was down to their wide versatility. As well as enjoying them with our famous mash and peas on the side, our customers have been pre-ordering them for weddings, birthday parties, office celebrations and dinner parties.

“It was a no-brainer to look to wholesale. We believe Canapies will work exceptionally well in a large number of vertical markets, ranging from pubs and bars, to hotels, restaurants, large and small events, and at student-focused venues.”
