Chef Shaun Rankin is opening his first London restaurant as part of a new residency at exclusive Mayfair membership club 12 Hay Hill.

Aimed at London’s emerging business elite, 12 Hay Hill will open in early 2015, combining offices, business facilities and social spaces in the centre of Mayfair.

Rankin will oversee the entire culinary offer at the venue, which will include a high-end brasserie serving the chef's signature Jersey-inspired cuisine. Produce will be sourced directly from Rankin's extensive network of suppliers on the island.

Other dining options will include deli-style dining in the basement bar, al-fresco dining on the outdoor terrace and catering spanning communal, private and at-desk dining.

“12 Hay Hill offers the perfect combination of prime location and unique concept making for a very exciting partnership,” said Rankin.

“It will be a club like no other, serving dishes inspired by world-renowned Jersey produce. Jersey’s huge tidal flow delivers the most spectacular seafood and the longer sunshine hours provide the ideal climate for organic produce and this will all be coming to London.

“It’s fantastic to have a prestigious venue in Mayfair to add to the business portfolio and I look forward to introducing something totally new to the club clientele.”

Closed to the general public, 12 Hay Hill will offer both club and resident membership.

Resident membership will start at £1,1000 per desk per month and include a minimum six desk office space with furniture and full administrative support, as well as access to all club facilities.

Club membership will start at £150 per month, offering access to hot-desking spaces, meeting rooms and other business facilities as well as the ground floor bar and lounge, a gym with shower facilities and Rankin’s new restaurant.

“By partnering with Shaun Rankin as our resident chef, 12 Hay Hill is emphasising the standard of club we intend to provide for London’s business elite,” said Simon Robinson, chief executive of Hay Hill.

“Both our office tenants and individual members will be able to enjoy high quality food in all our dining areas or at their desks. Shaun is helping us to deliver a genuinely new experience which is unique in London.”
