Black & White Hospitality is hoping to sublet the first floor of its 14,500 sq ft Mr White’s flagship on Leicester Square to another operator.

According to a listing on the website of property agent CDG Leisure, the group is looking for an operator to take 5,364 sq ft of the site, which is currently used for overspill and events.

The 600-cover Mr White’s launched in late 2021as a ‘steak, pizza and gin house’ and is the group’s largest restaurant, joining the group’s circa 40 other restaurants affiliated to Marco White Pierre White.

According to the listing, Black & White Hospitality intends to co-brand the entrance, with the new operator also sharing the venue’s reception desk.

The first floor space seats approximately 190 customers and has views of Leicester Square to the front.

To the rear there are customer toilets, a large fully-fitted kitchen with walk-in fridge/freezer, prep areas and washing station.

The premises are described as being an excellent condition, having been re-fitted when the Nick Taplin-run group took on the site about 12 months ago (it was formerly a Chiquito).

Founded in 2013, Black & White Hospitality is a franchising and hotel management business that oversees brands including Marco Pierre White Steak House Bar & Grill, Marco’s New York Italian, Bardolino and Wheeler’s of St James’s.
