Pip Lacey and Gordy McIntyre launch Little Pizza Hicce
The duo behind Hicce in Coal Drops Yard and Hicce Hart pub and restaurant in Islington are serving pizzas at the Goodness Brewing Co taproom in north London’s Wood Green.
Announcing their new venture on Instagram, the pair wrote: “You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy pizza & that’s kind of the same thing.”
Lacey and McIntyre opened Hicce Hart at the end of last year with Lacey at the time saying the pair had also considered opening a pizza restaurant depending on the site.
“We were looking at anything, there wasn’t any remit as such. Whether the area felt right, what we could do with the space, how much it would cost were all factors,” said Lacey about the launch of Hicce Hart.
“We didn’t know whether we would open a restaurant or a pub or maybe even a pizza place. we are open to everything as we’ve got quite a few concepts flying around our black book.”
