The world’s first free-to-use global job portal has been launched to help job seekers and employers across the world fill hospitality positions.

Called HospitalityHope.com, the portal has been designed to cater to the needs of individuals seeking jobs, internships, or stages in the hospitality sector and is completely free of fees, subscriptions, or sponsors.

Founded by award-winning Indian food expert, author and TV host Rashmi Uday Singh, HospitalityHope.com aims to level the playing field by offering a one-stop solution for job seekers and employers, not only by simplifying the job search process but ensuring that access to opportunities is equitable and without financial barriers, according to Uday Singh.

“Doing something meaningful, enabling young ones to get internships, others to get their dream jobs, all for free and using my savings to do so is what HospitalityHope.com is all about,” she says. “It enables me to in some manner - no matter how small - to give back to the hospitality industry which has given me much of delicious love and caring past many decades.”

The idea for the job portal came during the pandemic, when Uday Singh began posting job alerts on her Instagram account when individual restaurants, hotels, requested her to do so. Its initial popularity, as well as encouragement from top chef Massimo Bottura, spurred her on to create a jobs website with a global perspective.

HospitalityHope.com has since received the backing from top chefs around the world, including Mirazur’s Mauro Colagreco, Eneko Atxa at Azurmendi, Joan Roca from El Celler De Can Roca, and the kitchen brigade at Hotel Villa D’Este (pictured).

Companies currently advertising job positions on the portal include Unapologetic Foods in the US, The Connaught and Benares in the UK, Olive Bar and Kitchen and Four Seasons Mumbai in India.
