Patty & Bun to close Soho restaurant
No reason has been given for the restaurant’s closure but the group said that it was for reasons that were out of its control. “Unfortunately it wasn’t our choice to leave,” it says.
The Soho restaurant was the fourth restaurant in the burger group’s portfolio when it opened on Old Compton Street in February 2016. Its last day of trading will be 28 October.
The closure will leave Patty & Bun with 10 locations, nine of which are located in London and one in Brighton. Of its London locations, seven are standalone restaurants on James Street, Richmond Road, Borough High Street, Canary Wharf, Northcote Road, Kingly Street and Liverpool with the other two located within food halls run by mini golf operator Swingers.
Last month Patty & Bun had proposals approved for a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA). The company had appointed Valentine & Co to supervise the process, with the CVA approved on 11 September.
