Luxury seafood restaurant and retail brand Caviar House & Prunier has partnered with the Threadneedles Hotel to launch its first outpost in the City of London.

Caviar House at Threadneedles officially opened earlier this month and marks the group’s first new location in the capital for nearly a decade.

Housed on the ground floor of the hotel and featuring its own dedicated entrance on Threadneedle Street, the site is split between a 38-cover lounge and a 34-seat bar area with dining available across both spaces.

The food menu includes a selection of seafood and shellfish dishes including prawn linguine topped with caviar; a lobster brioche roll served with fries; and a seafood platter combining salmon, gravadlax, shrimps, king prawns, an oyster and a spoon of caviar.

Drinks include a menu of ‘caviar cocktails’ such as the caviar martini; and a gin and tonic mixed with a dash of caviar and Champagne.

Caviar House & Prunier is the union between the Caviar House company, founded in 1950 by George Rebeiz, and French caviar producer Prunier, created in 1872 by Alfred Prunier.

The group’s London estate includes a flagship restaurant and retail boutique in Piccadilly, and a Champagne and oyster bar in Selfridges.

It also has around 40 seafood bars and retail outlets around the world, primarily based in airports.

In 2021, Caviar House & Prunier sold a 53% stake to Olma Luxury Holdings, an investor in luxury brands.
