David Collyer, director of marketing, IHG
The Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) has appointed David Collyer as director of marketing for the UK and Ireland.
Collyer has built his career within IHG over the past six years, where he quickly progressed to the role of marketing manager and oversaw the successful re-launch of the Holiday Inn brand across 58 hotels.
In his new role, he will be responsible for developing and driving marketing strategy across IHG’s company-managed hotels along with managing a team of six across all key marketing channels.
He said: “I’m very excited about this opportunity and looking forward to the new challenge. A key focus will be placed on driving brand preference and loyalty to outperform the competition in this current economic climate.”
