Rudy’s Pizza will triple its presence in London next month with the opening of two new sites.

The first will be located on Shoreditch High Street, followed quickly by a site in Fitzrovia.

Opening on 4 December, the Shoreditch pizzeria be set across two floors with the majority of covers on the ground floor space plus a smaller, more intimate basement dining room as well as a courtyard.

The Fitzrovia restaurant will open two weeks later on 18 December and will occupy a corner plot close to Tottenham Court Road and the British Museum.

Both restaurants will serve authentic Neapolitan pizzas that are cooked for around 60 seconds. The menu will feature classics including the marinara, margherita and calabrese, alongside a range of rotating specials.

“We’re delighted to be able to offer our truly traditional neapolitan pizza to even more Londoners,” says Rudy’s Pizza managing director Neal Bates.

“We’re looking forward to becoming a part of the neighbourhoods of both Shoreditch and Fitzrovia and getting to know the locals, and are looking forward to finally opening our doors at both sites.”

Rudy's Pizza launched in Ancoats, Manchester, in 2015. The new restaurants will be the 21st and 22nd standalone Rudy’s Pizza restaurants. The brand also operates at fairground game venue Fairgame in Canary Wharf.

The openings see brand owner Mission Mars make further inroads into the capital. The company will also open its Albert’s Schloss venue in London next spring on the site of the former Rainforest Café on Shaftesbury Avenue.

The 18,000sq ft, 500-cover venue will involve an £8m investment and will be the brand’s biggest venue to date.
