Ex-Harvey Nichols executive head chef Simon Shaw has reopened his Tapas restaurant El Gato Negro in Manchester after leaving its original home in Ripponden, West Yorkshire after nine years.
The restaurant has held a Michelin Bib Gourmand for the past two years and Shaw has moved the site to the city to grow the business and offer a 'broader' range of dishes.
El Gato Negro Manchester is spread across three floors and features a charcuterie bar, open kitchen and Black Cat cocktail bar with a retractable roof.
El Gato Negro, 52 King Street, Manchester, M2 4LY - 22 February.
