Liverpool-based hotel developer and operator, Signature Living, has appointed former Crowne Plaza cooking chief Matt Cox as its new executive chef.
Cox, who has also worked at Marriot and Radisson hotels will manage more than 25 chefs across two venues and will be responsible for developing and implementing menus at the company’s existing restaurants. He will also take control over all food operations in all aspects of the business.
Signature Living operates two hotels in Liverpool - Carpathia and The Bastion in Liverpool city centre and has plans to expand across the UK and Europe this year.
Cox said: “Being appointed executive chef at Signature Living means I will be able to work with a fantastic team of chefs and oversee key menus throughout the year across its accommodation portfolio. It also means I will be able to turn my attention to the other developments which it intends to open later this year.”
