The Bocuse d'Or 2013 in pictures

BigHospitality followed the UK team - Simpson's head chef Adam Bennett and his commis chef Kristian Curtis, coach Nick Vadis, president Brian Turner and chairman John Williams - out to the competition at the international trade show Sirha at Lyon's Eurexpo on 30 January. 

Take a look through these pictures which chart the UK team's journey through the competition, which saw France take top place for the seventh time​ since it started in 1987.
