Purecraft
With a former Restaurant Sat Bains chef at the helm, this site is the second opening for the Pure Craft company, which was founded in 2014 by Andreas Antona, the chef restaurateur behind Simpsons in Edgbaston and the Cross in Kenilworth; Martin Hilton, former director at Mitchells and Butlers, and Paul Halsey, co-founder of Warwickshire brewery Purity Brewing Co. Putting beer at the centre of its menu, the site will offer traditional bar snacks such as local pork pies, alongside larger plates – often cooked using beer and/or matched with beer ‒ such as bavette steak with beer ketchup, and ‘house rubbed’ rotisserie chicken.
