VOC Grill, King's Cross, London - 14 June
The team behind VOC London, the King's Cross bar with a cocktail menu created by Fluid Movement, this month re-opened the site after transforming it to create a new 38-cover grill restaurant.
Delwar Matin, the owner of the VOC London business, said a restaurant was the next logical step after a space became available behind the existing Varnishers Yard bar.
"The transformation came about due to customers requesting more of a food offering at the VOC Bar," he said.
"Customers regularly told us how much they enjoyed spending evenings experimenting with the different flavours and techniques that went into our 17th century-inspired cocktails and punches, but were keen to have the chance to enjoy a food offering alongside this."
