Wentworth started cooking in a small pub at the age of 15 and then worked for two years as an apprentice at St Mellion. Her past experience also includes time spent at Tanners Restaurant in Plymouth, The Manor House, an Exclusive Hotel and Golf Club in Castle Combe and 18-months working for former National Chef of the Year winner, Simon Hulstone at The Elephant.
Wentworth now works at Lucknam Park as a Junior Sous chef. This year she won South West Chef of the Year through which she secured entry to the Young National Chef of the Year. She sees the competition as a great opportunity to build on her skills and has already gained more self confidence. She’s very much looking forward to cooking in the final.
