David Taylor, head of commercial, IHG UK & Ireland

InterContinental Hotels Group​ (IHG), the owner of the Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza hotel brands, has announced the interim appointment of David Taylor​ as head of commercial for the UK & Ireland managed estate.

Taylor joins IHG with a broad commercial background, having previously led the commercial function at a number of national hotel chains, including Paramount and Q Hotels. In his new role he will be responsible for developing and leading IHG’s commercial activity across the UK and Ireland, ensuring the delivery of all sales and marketing activity to maximum effect in a bid to drive sustainable revenue.
