Nick Ward, head chef, The Gilbert Scott
The Gilbert Scott, Marcus Wareing's second venture, has announced the appointment of Nick Ward as head chef.
Ward first began working for Wareing at Petrus, St James’ in 2000 as a commis chef. He progressed through the kitchen moving to the Savoy Grill as senior sous chef in 2003 until it closed in 2007.
Chantelle Nicholson, general manager of The Gilbert Scott, said: "It is with great pleasure we have promoted Nick Ward to the position of head chef. Nick has a long history with Marcus Wareing Restaurants and Marcus and I are looking forward to him developing and enhancing the menu at The Gilbert Scott".
