DoubleTree by Hilton London Docklands has announced that Rajpal Singh is the hotel’s new head chef. They have also announced the recruitment of Joel Lawrence as bar manager.
Singh’s experience has seen him work in kitchens across India and in the UK. He will be leading the chef team and overseeing service from breakfast to late dinner and in-room dining, banqueting and private event catering. His modern British menu will have international influences.
Lawrence’s career has seen him work on both the east and west coasts of America (in New York City and Los Angeles), as well as Miami on Florida’s southern tip. His UK positions include working at Arsenal Football Club’s Emirates Stadium and the Intercontinental London – Park Lane hotel.
