Alfred Ong, managing director (Europe & India), Ascott
Serviced residence owner-operator Ascott has appointed Alfred Ong as its managing director for Europe & India, with immediate effect.
Ong, who previously held the position of managing director of strategic development, is now responsible for managing company assets and growing the hospitality business in the key European and Indian markets.
“I see tremendous growth opportunities within the European countries,” he said. “Today we have 45 properties across six countries. Our target is to grow our presence in Europe by 400 units per year via our investment, management, leases and franchise platforms."
